Family Net's Everyday With Marcus and Lisa Features Maranatha! Music's The Invitation Series

Maranatha! Music President and CEO Randy Alward and AACC President Dr. Tim Clinton Share The Invitation Series Message And Encourage Viewers
Maranatha! Music President and CEO Randy Alward and AACC President Dr. Tim Clinton were recently welcomed as guests on Family Net's "Everyday With Marcus and Lisa." On the show, Alward and Clinton introduced viewers to The Invitation Series, an audio tract series created to communicate the encouraging message of Christ to those struggling with difficult life-issues such as past hurts, cancer, addiction and grief.

"As a former pastor of 15 years, I felt the call to create a ministry tool for the church body to use that could address these issues while sharing the message of salvation," explains Alward. "This vision led to the creation of The Invitation Series, a product that offers encouragement and hope to those struggling with life's tough issues."

More than 1.2 million CDs of the series have been distributed in the past two years since the debut of the original Invitation tract on CD, narrated by pastor and author of The Purpose-Driven Life, Rick Warren. The The Invitation Series double CD, the follow-up to the original Invitation CD, combines Scripture's encouraging message, delivered by Beth Moore, Kay Warren, John Baker and Dr. Tim Clinton; with powerful songs of faith and personal testimonies about each topic. A ten-track worship CD featuring songs specifically selected with the listener's felt need in mind is also included in each package.

Dr. Tim Clinton is the featured narrator on An Invitation to Comfort that addresses grief. "This past summer, my dad went to heaven. Yes, God gave him a wonderful, full life, but when your father dies, a part of you goes with him," Clinton explains. "Through the years I have learned that those who love much grieve much. In my own grief I have found the God of all comfort who has comforted me in my troubles. I pray listeners will be comforted by the words and music on An Invitation to Comfort, with the same comfort God gave me."
