Bread Of Stone: New Festival Record, International TV, Highlight Busy June

06-27-2008 07:52

Bread Of Stone
It’s been a record setting June for Bread of Stone! They, in fact, broke a record this past weekend (June 20-23) performing at the Pro-Life Music Festival in Warsaw, IN. In the 10 years of the festival’s history, the band is the first to play all three consecutive days, including a midnight worship service where festival attendees came to hear the group lead worship and speak on living lives fully committed to God. Ben Kristijanto, founder and lead singer said “We are grateful to the Pro-Life Music Festival for the amazing opportunity to come to their event and for the support we received from everyone. The midnight worship was one of the highlights of the festival for me. It was great to see the people singing as loud as they could and worshiping God. It was awesome!”

Following the festival, the group traveled to Marion, IL to be featured on TCT-TV, an international Christian television program that airs in over 170 countries around the world. Bread of Stone preformed on the live broadcast program, “Rejoice,” where they sang their debut song from the album of the same name “Letting Go,” and shared their testimony about having parents of Iranian and Indonesian decent and living in the largest Muslim country in the world, Indonesia.

In October, Bread of Stone will tour with Inhabited and Nate Huss on The True Love Revolution Tour. All three artists will share from their heart the issues that are important to them. Ben from Bread of Stone will share about the purity of the heart and living for God, Sarah from Inhabited will talk about sexual purity, and Nate, given away at birth and raised in an adoptive Christian home as the youngest of eight “global kids,” will challenge young people of find their true identity in Christ.

Bread of Stone consists of Ben Kristijanto (lead vocals, guitar, keys), Bill Kristijanto (lead guitar), Jeremi Hough (drums), and Tim Barnes (bass).
